Movies Suck

There should be some sort of special button on TVs that when you push it it blocks out any programs you might see when you're in a certain frame of mind. Like say tonight I could have blocked out Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, and City of Angels...all of which aren't the best things to watch when you're trying to get over heartbreak. I mean what can be done when you're presented with songs like the Roxette song from Pretty Woman, that Goo Goo Dolls song, and of course, "She's Like the Wind"???

You should listen to songs like the disco song "I Will Survive" and "Legend of a Cowgirl" by Imani Coppola (1997), and "Open My Heart" by Yolanda Adams. Watch movies like "The Green Mile" to remember what's good in the world, "Storm of the Century" to remember that you're not that bad of a person, and "Driving Miss Daisy" because that fiesty old lady is just as sweet as pie once you break through her layers.

I like to watch "The Green Mile" because I know all the words of the character Wild Bill, and he's a little shit!!! He's a bad guy, but still funny.

My mom despises the movie "Pretty Woman" because she hates that it glamorizes prostitution. Lighten up, mom!

Were you imagining JC and you in the water and him lifting you above his head, like on Dirty Dancing?
Jacq - I've been tryig not to listen to ANY music!! LOL...but those songs just happened to be in those stupid movies! I LOVE the Green Mile!

Jessie - No, I wasn't...I actually only watched the part with the "She's Like the Wind" song...I was too busy with the other movies.

All those songs in DIRTY DANCING remind me of my senior year of high school. But I ABSOLUTELY HATE "I've had the time of my life." That was our class song. GAY!!!! That movie came out before Jennifer Grey, aka *Baby*, got a nose job and then no one recognized who she was!!!

Feeling the Urge . . . I'm kind of feeling an urge to blog this morning...just to get my thoughts out...do something to keep my mind busy and relieve some stress...yet, I don't seem to have anything to say. I totatlly skipped doing cardio this morning, and know that I won't make it to the gym for the rest of the day...being very lazy. I stopped this morning and got a bagel and coffee. I was standing in line with all the other people who were either wearing business suits or scrubs (I live in the medical center after all), and I felt quite out of place in my Maroon5 (yeah!) T-shirt and jeans that I wore to school last night and just threw on this morning to take Gabby to school. No make-up and hair in a ponytail. I was looking quite decrepit amongst those other "working folks"! I'm wondering how my life got to be this freakin' boring!!! And then I'm wondering why the bagel shop has to be right next to a mortuary?...just a thought.
What is the definition of love? Some anonymous person asked me this in the 'comments section' many blogs ago. A hard one to answer...everyone has a different answer...I am slowly admitting to myself that I have never truly been in love...I have felt deep affection for people, and I have had my feelings manipulated, and I have definitely been in lust...But I honestly can say that I've never been in love on my own terms...I'm so ready to be swept completely off my feet...
