I've been watching a lot of movies lately...ALOT!!! Some I've bought...some I rented...some I had seen before and bought anyway...some I bought and still haven't seen...it's been good "therapy" as Jessica put it. Maybe...it takes my mind off things...and really good movies are always good for the soul...and I think of really good movies kind of like books...you can learn something...even if it's only about yourself. :)
1. Blood Diamond...saw it in the theatre, but LOVE this one...watch it!!!
2. Bobby...rented it...really liked it.
3. Rumor Has It...I love Shirley Mcclain in anything! I cried my eyes out. Of course I did watch it right after the next one.d
4. World Trade Center...everyone has their own sad story dealing with 9/11, and I definitely have my own demons from that day...week...I thought it was a great movie.
5. Volver...started off thinking it was kind of weird...Spanish humor is different from American humor, but by the end I was loving it (subtitles).
6. Half Nelson...another great movie...little bit of a let down on the ending.
7. Come Early Morning...great, great movie about finding out who you really are. Cried at this one, too.
8. Running with Scissors...eh...
9. Off the Map...a little slow...but liked it a lot. It was really cute.
10. Dreamland...coming of age story...slow...but good.
11. Empire of the Sun...I love war movies, and this one is an all time classic.
12. The White Countess...another war movie...slow, not so good...but love Ralph Fiennes.
13. Beowolf and Grendle...I don't care what it was about it had Gerard Butler and his Scottish accent in it!!!
14. Children of Men...loved it in the theatre, and the second time, too. Plus my boyfriend Clive Owen is in it.
15. The Horse Whisperer...my girlfriend is in this one when she was little...Scarlett Johannson...all time classic...cried.
I know there's more, but can't remember right now...The ones I haven't watched yet are Pursuit of Happyness...the first season of Party of Five...and some others...dang...my memory sucks right now!!!
Works going ok. The days go by fast. Gabby is good. Getting taller every minute!

Love movie therapy! I'm watching "Love's Abiding Joy" tonight and I have a few others on my list. Another one I liked is "Raising Victor Vargas". You should rent that one. I'll try to come up with some other suggestions.
Love ya!
