So, my birthday started on Sunday with my mom cooking prime rib and potato salad (my choice!), and a carrot cake w/ homemade icing! Yum! My sister got me the cutest pair of Uggs and "Gabby" (aka my dad) got me an MP3 player (Means I have no excuse not to do cardio!). Then today I woke up to a happy birthday call from Joshy...got to work where my desk was decorated with pink balloons, and a present of some bath and body works stuff. They made me a cake too...yellow with chocolate frosting! My fav! They also got me a great card and a gift card to WalMark...Yay, Shopping! Then my cell phone was overloaded with all the best wishes from friends and family....For lunch, Josh ordered me lunch, met me in the lobby, gave me money, and sent me on my way to pick it up (he couldn't leave for lunch)...delicious tacos from Order Up! When I got back to work from lunch I had some really pretty yellow and pink flowers waiting for me on my desk from whom other than Jess the Greatest Friend Ever!...and Eric and Lady, too......It was truly a great 30th! Now I'm at my parent's for some more carrot cake and Yay! presents! I took the day off from work tomorrow, even though I'm not doing anything tonight. I get to party it up this weekend (Woo Hoo...Coyote Ugly on Friday and Dave and Buster's on Saturday...Go Lackland Eagles!).

I LOVED working from home MOMO working from home 2. I felt closer to my family 3. I didn't mind the slower pace and less to do 4. I was able to have a better work/life balance 5. I felt more productive at home and at work 6. I did a couple of home projects - helped my parents landscape my front yard, gave my bedroom a makeover with my sister, and reorganized my pantry with her Before After Pantry Makeover Bedroom Makeover 7. I spent the best summer with my son and dogs at my sister'shouse - laughing, crying, painting rocks, getting to know my fur nieces and nephews (Wall-E, Maggie, Leeloo, and funny, little, Peyton who we lost in...

Besides, when you're in your 20s, no one seems to want to take you seriously! I was so insecure in my 20s. But you realize your true womanhood in the next decade.
ENJOY!
