I Love Peanuts

Gabby's favorite place to eat is Souper Salad. She doesn't like soup, and she really hates salad. Nonetheless...that's her favorite place to eat. I'm gonna guess because they have lots of kid friendly things like Goldfish, watermelon, cheese pizza...ice cream...finger foods.

Gabby's least favorite place to eat is Logan's Roadhouse. I'm not sure why. Or at least I wasn't until a couple of days ago. She hates Logan's Roadhouse so much that Josh and I love to tease her about it. She'll say, "Where are we gonna eat?" And Josh or I will say, "We're going to Logan's." At which point she will scream and cry that she doesn't want to go and why can't we just go to Souper Salad.

So, we did it to her again. Josh and I already planned on going to eat at Souper Salad, but while I was on the phone with him (Gabby screaming in the background "Souper Salad Souper Salad Souper Salad!"), I said, "Good idea, Josh. Let's go to Logan's." Gabby responded with a very whiny, "LOGAN'S?? Ihate Logan's." Yea, I was really surprised by that response. What I didn't expect her to say is, "That place is just too 'woody' for me."

If you've ever been to any kind of "roadhouse" I'm sure you'll understand. The benches are made of wood, and there are peanut shells all over the floors. Yea, Gabby, I agree. Very, very "woody".

I love the way kids explain things, its so simple and so honest. I wish I could be more like that.

Am I Going To Die? I just got stung for the first time ever by a wasp . . . So far so good . . . I can still breathe, I haven't swelled up like a balloon, yet . . . But it hurts and itches like crazy!!! It's almost the end of the semester and I am completely swamped! Two projects, two papers, and three finals, all in the next 3 weeks . . . Somehow I'll handle it. I've actually all of sudden "woken up" where school is concerned. I've been in such a daze for like the last 7 or 8 months.
