Yea...Um...So...MOVING ON!!!

Wow! I guess it's true - pictures are worth 1000 words, or at least 1000 "out of this world" comments!

So, it's already Wednesday, but I had a really great weekend. Friday night Mi-Mi, Velma, JC, and some other friends went to see Mr. Incredible's band play. We got there and the drummer from the band kept sneaking up behind JC and smacking the crap out of his back, and I mean SMACKING! You could probably hear it over the music and across the entire bar. I guess it's actually some "ritual" that was acquired when they all went to a bachelor party in New Orleans when I first met JC. Friday was Spiderman's birthday though, so JC and I cut out early and went over to Lilo's house where there was some kind of birthday party going on. I don't really remember much. We had had about 4 shots of Goldschlogger within an hour at the bar, and I was pretty much gone by the time we got to Lilo's. JC has two groups of friends from his work - the ones that we usually hang out with and are closer to my age than his, and then there's the group that was at Lilo's - MUCH MUCH younger than me, and some even younger than JC. It's kind of uncomfortable for me because I'm not "in that place" anymore, and it's hard to listen to girls get all giggley about how they get "high" on cigarettes. It takes me back to when I was 15, and Jessica started smoking, but wouldn't inhale, and she used to do this "Puff the Magic Dragon" thing. Anyway, we ended up back at my house, and I passed out on the floor while JC played Legend of Zelda. Supposedly we had a really good night, but I don't remember it *blush blush*!

The next morning we couldn't sleep in because JC had an appointment to go get his hair did. We ran into his hairdresser the night before and I asked if she had people that would be working when JC got his hair done that would do my eyebrows, but it was really just a question. Well, we got there and she had it all set up. So, I got my eyebrows waxed, and it hurt like crazy. I left JC to get his hair done, and I went shopping. When I came back JC's hairdresser said the girl who did my eyebrows felt really bad because she knew she had hurt me, and she wasn't going to charge me! Thank god because for the last few days I've had these scab lines where SHE RIPPED OFF MY SKIN!!! I dropped JC off at work, and went shopping with Josh. Fun!

Saturday night JC and I went to this new bar the Hanger. It was just the two of us for the first time ever. We always hang out with a group, but this night, JC and I were on our own, and it was such an amazing night. Unfortunately I drank too many shots again, and ended up passing out on the floor again. The next morning we laughed our asses off about how JC always feels like he's recounting the night before to someone who wasn't even there because my memory of it is so foggy.

Sunday we spent the entire day laying on my living room floor playing Legend of Zelda. Once again...Glorious! We spent so much quality time together. It was really good. I am so in love (please don't puke!). Sunday night we went out to the same bar with the "group".

So, now after one of my favorite weekends of all time it's time to play catch up with school. I'm a little behind, but I got three chapters read today, and I'm going to my sister's tonight to use her much faster/non-dial-up interent to get more stuff done.

My plans for getting back into the gym/eating right thing hasn't really worked this week. I haven't been to the gym, but I have been eating better - baby steps I guess. My body is really feeling it though, and my muscles actually miss lifting weights.

Pretty Decent Weekend

I went out Friday night, and....I met someone. We really, really hit it off. I think some of you who know me really well would be shocked at how good looking he is. His name is Paul, he's 29, and he's only been in San Antonio for about a week. Anyway, we talked all night, I drank a little too much, and so did he, so the night didn't actually end that well because there was an argument between him and Andrea. I thought he was a little rude, and also maybe he would be scared off. But we were texting last night, and we're going to meet up next Friday. I really do think he should apologize to Andrea first though. Although, I'm so green with this dating thing...I almost think that's too much to ask when you're getting to know someone. I don't know, you tell me. Saturday I pretty much did nothing but recover. And then Sunday, Andrea, Gabby, and I went hiking. We did a Level 4 out of 5 trail for an hour and a half. I'm not sure how many miles it...

Busy!!!

This weekend was jammed pack with errands and stuff. I played the Sims3 for about 5 hours on Saturday, and other than that, I never really got to sit still. I took my car in on Saturday because it was shaking horribly whenever I got up 60mph. Ended up having to get 4 new tires and an alignment. Sunday, P-Dub and I went to Joshy's house and stole his couch. He's moving and gave me his old sectional. I LOVE it! P-Dub went to his dad's for dinner and I stayed home and nested. Cleaned, rearranged. Love it! Gabby had to stay at her dad's one more night since I didn't get my car back until today. P-Dub spent the night so he could take me to work. He played the Sims3 and I read my new book. It was so domestic and sweet. I knew I wasn't crazy when I took off Friday from work. I'm working way too hard. Because I have to. Really shouldn't say too much about my job here, so I'll just say that I've been doing too much...alone. And it's kil...

2 More Days!!!

Gabby and I get on a plane that leaves at 5:30am on Friday to head to DC to be with Jessica, Eric, and the new dog. I can't wait! Gabby's never been! And she was too little the last time she was on a plane to remember it. Exciting! Last week, Jess' friend Deannie was in San Antonio. We met up for dinner and drinks. Love ya, Deannie!
