Have the lowest self-esteem of all time.

Ignore Mikey and ignore that I'm drunk and LOOK IT....this picture makes me want to lose weight AND grow my bangs out..... I'm glad I don't have that lifestyle anymore, but I want to look like I did when I was wasting my life away! I guess I wasted all that working out and good hair, too!!! My self-esteem is in the gutter. I weigh more than I ever have before. Well, kind of. I do weigh A LOT more, but more than that...I can tell every inch of muscle I had built working with a trainer for 3 years is almost gone...kind of makes the fat "spread" vs. "weighing more". The bangs have been a good change for the last couple of years...definitely more professional. But I seriously miss my wild locks. It always helped my self-esteem. So, on top of the weight issues, P-Dub accidentally threw away my new contacts...so I'm stuck in my glasses...AND...I've messed up my ankle and can't wear high heels to work. All this combined and I feel SO DUMPY! ...

Shackin' Up and more...

I didn't realize it had been so long since I last posted! A lot has happened. 1. P-Dub moved in. 2. I got a new kitten - Mojave. 3. ...hmmm...maybe that's it... I'll elaborate further when I have more time. One thing about living with someone is...not a lot of time to myself or privacy...no big deal...it's just no fun when someone's looking over your shoulder. How do you explain you're not being sneaky or secretive...you just don't feel like "talking about it". I don't know how else to explain it. I'll post more on the living together on True Romance?, and pictures of Moe-Moe to come...ok, I can't help myself...he's too cute...you can have a picture now...

My Sis & I saw Kathy Griffin about a month ago.

P-Dub's Birthday Gift

Here it is!!! This is what I ended up getting him. It's kind of cheesy, but he's a guy who loves football and LOVES the Colts...so, wish me luck that he likes it!!! The Game Time Schedule Watch may be the coolest sports watch ever made. Now you can have your team's schedule on your wrist. Watch and follow their progress. Each Game Time Schedule Watch comes pre-programmed with your team's schedule. Each week you will see who your favorite team is playing, whether it is home or away, and what time the game starts. It will even play a song when the game starts as a reminder, so you may never miss another game. At the touch of a button, you can scroll through your team’s schedule or the schedule of every team in your conference. Look ahead to see future games any week of the season, or look back at games already played. Finally, Game Time’s patented technology allows your Game Time Schedule Watch to be updated each season. By using the specially designed USB connector inc...

What to do????

I have no idea what to get P-Dub for his upcoming 37th birthday. He's SO HARD to buy for! I know people say that, but with him...it's almost impossible! There's no simple little things he likes...he's not sentimental...he's very picky, critical and judgmental...He just really doesn't ever LOVE anything, ya know? Well...things that I can afford...because I would totally get him an iTouch, too, but...that's past the budget. The only other "things" he loves are watches! So, I'm on a mission...to find him a watch that he will love and that won't break the bank. He also wants a watch box to display the only things he loves...his watches...but he wants black, with silver hardware and a clear top. Believe it or not...it's not that easy to find...especially since finding a watch box under $400 is almost impossible! Off I go to surf the net while P-Dub works out with his personal trainer...

My Daddy

So, Jess' new blog post made me think about my dad, especially since his birthday present just came in the mail and he's super excited...to watch it with P-Dub! Crazy. Anyway...here's some pics of me and MY dad! Yes, they're black & white with a splash of color because that's how I did a special PhotoBook for Father's Day...and I don't have time to fix up the originals... The day I was born...awwwwww.... This is my fondest memory. Me playing in our back room and my dad would come home from work in his BDUs and come in to "Hello". In my dad's Security Police beret. I always thought my dad was cooler than ANY other military guy because of the hat he got to wear...

I guess I should begin adding pics from our vacation!

I'll just the ones from Carly's birthday first. Any pics with P-Dub will be on True Romance?.

Too Cute!!! Miss her already!

Pictures from Painting With a Twist

Please note: We live in South Texas. The room was very hot. Sweat is an accessory!

Girls Night

Friday I went out with Becky, Joy and Andrea. Joy just had a new baby and hasn't really been able to get out, so we celebrated my birthday a little late. We did Painting With a Twist. It was a little pricey...if you wanted to do it a little more often than just special occassions, but it was LOTS of fun. My painting is horrible. The instructor wouldn't even comment on my painting at all. He walked around saying, "That's really good", or "Why don't you try this", or whatever else...but to me...NOTHING! Yea, I guess it was pretty terrible. LOL. Go HERE to see the painting we did. And then I'll post a picture of how mine turned out later. LOL! You should check to see if there's a location near you!!!

Did you know...?

...that Gabby has a brown belt in one form of Karate and a blue belt in another? We just got her new pictures in today. (ALSO, GO TO TRUE ROMANCE? TO CHECK OUT NEW PICS OF P-DUB AND ME!!!) 8-Years Old 12-Years Old She looks way too grown up! You can see such a difference in the last 4 years. It makes me a little sad. I need to hurry up and have another one. I waited way too long... :(

Just finished a photo book for my dad...Love these pics!

Out Damn Spot!

I'm trying extra hard not to focus on the negative today, which is definitely a very hard thing to do with a list of things going on like this: 1. Gabby has detention after school today. I'm no angel, but I NEVER had detention or went to the office or even had in school suspension...NOTHING! 2. Seriously, I'm not being overdramatic...and this is very hard to say...I've known my relationship with my best friend has not always been healthy....but I think I have finally realized that it might actually verbally abusive...towards me. I'm trying to sort out my boundaries and figure out where to go from here... 3. I'm not the most decisive person, but I'm not a perfectionist either...so, if you told me to pick you up some dinner from Wendy's...I would probably know basically what you like, etc. and I would just get it. If you didn't like what I got? Oh well, that's your problem. This is getting to the point that P-Dub drives me insane with his i...

You get multiple blogs out of me today...

Just waiting around for the lady who found my purse to drop it off at the apartment office....and waiting for them to call me. Then I have to wait for the car window fixer guys to get here. So, now that I'm much calmer (thank you car thieves for not going through my glove box and taking my Clonazepam!!!), I'm a little bored. I added a Wish Lists list over on my sidebar....added the 'Add to Wish List' button to my toolbar so I can add anything straight to my Amazon Wish List...whatever. Maybe I'll get around to posting pics from: Joy & Tybor's Baby Shower Twilites Show at Broadway 50/50 Melissa's B-Day Girls Day Out DON'T EVER LEAVE YOUR PURSE IN YOUR CAR! I've done it for years. And for a couple of years in a row I had my car broken into. But...for the last ten years, I've been perfectly fine. Guess it was about that time...even though it was VERY WELL hidden...and black...and it was dark...whatever. Argh! I can't stand thieves and ...

This never happens to me!

I called my apartment complex this morning to report the break in and a few minutes later, the manager called me back saying some lady at another complex down the street found my purse! She gave me her name and number and I called her. She will be dropping off everything she picked up at my apartment office today! That's amazing! I don't know what is left, but she did say she found both mine and Gabby's SSN cards. Woo Hoo! At least I don't have to go through that mess! And, the car window fixer people are coming by here between 3 and 5 to replace my window! Yahoo! But....I'm stuck here. At my apartment. No money. No credit card. Can't drive my car without getting glass stuck in my ass.....Oh well. I'm just going to be grateful!

I just don't have time for this

So, I walked out to my car to go to work...and there was my window...smashed to pieces...and my purse gone out of my car. I'm done. I don't have time for all of this. Replace window, cancel debit card, order new health insurance cards, get new driver's license, get new social security card, etc. Calgon? Nope...I think I need a drink!

NIOSA Train Float Contest

Last week was Fiesta! in San Antonio, and at work, to celebrate, we had a float contest. My team decided to put together a Night in Old San Antonio (NIOSA) float. NIOSA is one of the Fiesta! events where they serve different foods from around the world and booze of course...so, we came up with the idea of doing a five float train...one float for each letter of NIOSA. We decided on a Mexican Fiesta! themed float, an Irish themed float, a Chinese themed float, a French Quarter (Mardi Gras) themed float, and a German themed float. And, even though I have a lady that's from Germany on my team...I somehow was given the task of putting together the German float...I did a really cool city scene for the French Quarter float, too. So, here is my German Oktoberfest themed float...the part I did at home...then I took it to work and the German lady, who makes dollhouses and such, put little picnic tables and bread and beer mugs and a keg, etc. It turned out really cute... The pictures of ...
